Booking

For regular students who take lessons at least once a week, the lessons will take place on the same weekday and time.

When a student wants to have irregular lessons or less often than once a week, they need to book each lesson separately and having the same time is subject of availability.

Any changes to scheduled lessons need to be communicated by the student or a responsible adult at least 48 hours in advance.

Lessons are typically rescheduled rather than cancelled to prevent learning gaps, which can result in forgotten material and to adhere to the ABRSM suggested exam schedule.

Payment

Lessons for children are paid monthly in the beginning of each month.

Adults who don't have a regular slot, can pay each lesson separately.

All the lessons have to be paid in advance.

Lesson home rules

Student can come in 2 minutes before lesson start time to leave time for tiding up and toilet break for teacher.

Student and accompanying parent have to leave their outdoor clothes and shoes to hallway.

Before entering, please clean the shoes.

All students must wash their hands. 

Regular attendance requirement

Should a student's attendance drop below 50% of their scheduled lessons within a 10-week period, the regular time slot will no longer be held for them. Subsequent lessons must be booked individually.

If a student misses more than two weeks of lessons in a row without a prior mutual agreement (for example for holidays), their weekly time slot might be released. They can then pick from available time slots for upcoming lessons.

Being late

When a student is late to lesson, the lesson will be normally cut short & still have to pay for the full time.

Cancellation

A minimum 48 hours of notice is required for cancellation or re-booking.

When lesson is cancelled by student less than 48 hours before the lesson or in case of no-show, student still has to pay full price for the lesson.

When student has a regular time slot, then there is no refund if suitable alternative lesson time is not found.

Emergency cancellation

Lessons what are missed by close family member death, sudden serious illness are accepted. Constantly being in a traffic jam or forgetting the time are not emergencies and won’t be replaced and payment for the full lesson is still required.

Holidays

Studio has only two regular holidays in a year, one week in Easter and one week in Christmas.

Long summer holidays in July and August are allowed, but the student has to consider that the old time slot may not be available in September.

Student pays for the regular time slot, not the attendance of lessons.
